Oh, I hear you. I'm over the androgynous boys in their skinny jeans and overly coiffed hair dos. I'll take a brawny guy in white jeans and faded, baggy jeans any day.

When the daily grind becomes too mundane, I need a distraction. Usually I start browsing the internet or I email with friends. The ladies at this workplace have another idea. To make the work week go faster, they call their boyfriends to pay a visit. Then they convince their men to start stripping. Now that's one way to make the work day go faster.

I saw American Gangster this weekend, and I thought it was a great flick. As I expected, both Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe gave great performances. Russell Crowe has always been one of my favorite actors. Ever since I saw "Gladiator," I thought he was a hunk who exudes masculinity. I've enjoyed his other roles, but "Gladiator" is the one that stands out.

If you haven't seen American Gangster yet, go see it. It's a good movie that deserves the early Oscar buzz.
